what we do
BARIATRIC SURGERY NUTRITION COUNSELING
What is Bariatric Surgery Nutrition Counseling?
Insurance companies and bariatric surgeons have a list of requirements that patients must meet in order to qualify for bariatric surgery.
One of those requirements is nutrition counseling. Most plans require 3-6 monthly nutrition appointments.
What to Expect
We provide this service by scheduling one-on-one Nutrition Counseling sessions with a Registered Dietitian who is experienced in Bariatric Surgery Nutrition Counseling.
Bariatric Patients are encouraged to schedule with Alina, Janelle, or Soleil.
During these visits, the patient will receive education about bariatric surgery and nutrition needs pre and post surgery.
The dietitian will also guide the patient in making dietary changes that will help the patient be as healthy, safe, and successful with surgery as possible.
Fees
Most of our patients use their health insurance and have zero out of pocket expenses. Contact our office today to get more information.
Self pay services are also available.
